2007 Shanghai International Jewelry Show 2007, the largest jewelery exhibition of eastern regions, opened in Pudong New International Exhibition Center on April 10. Mr. Zhou Yupeng, a standing member of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and vice director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai People's Congress, Mr. Chen Qizhou, a member of the national committee of CPPC and director of Consultation Research Center of Ministry of Land and Resources, Mr. Sun Fengmin, secretary-general of China Gem and Jade Association, Mr. Hu Shugang, chairman of Shanghai Gem and Jade Association, Mr. Lin Qiang, president of Shanghai Diamond Exchange, Mr. Cheng Binhai, Shanghai Gold and Jewelry Association and Mrs. Kejie, vice director of Jewelry Administration Center of Ministry of Land and Resources attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for the exhibition.
The exhibition has attracted more than 400 jewelers from 22 countries and regions. Many items on display is the first time to meet with public, such as 12 million yuan worth of jade Bead Chains, natural Brazil titanium crystal.
