Vietnam's fourth international exhibition of jewelry and watches opened in Ho Chi Minh City on December 3, attracting watchmakers and goldsmiths from 26 countries and territories across the world. Watches and wall clocks, wedding jewelry, jewelry for men, diamond necklaces and bracelets and various kinds of gemstones, such as diamonds and sapphires, are being showcased at the four-day exhibition.
According to international commentators, Vietnam's jewelry market has become more and more attractive to wholesalers, thanks to the fast-growing economy and an overall increase in the standard of living.
A large percentage of Vietnam's population is young and this generation is wealthier than its elders and interested in buying new jewelry designs.
