Authorized by the Ministry of Commerce, Diamond Administration of China (DAC) in in charge of issuing diamond import & export rights (a kind of license) to overseas members of Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE).
• Requirements
To qualify for the diamond import & export rights, overseas members of SDE shall meet several requirements:
a.Have an enterprise registered inside SDE
b.Import & export only diamond (including rough diamond, polished diamond and diamond jewellery without gold and silver)
c.Process the import & export declaration procedures only with SDE Customs
After the application approved by DAC, the diamond import & export rights will be officaly issued to the member, witch enable them handle diamond import & export declaration procedures at the SDE customs, as well as diamond exit & entry registration procedures.
