If the diamond dealer dosen't have a company registred in China, he cannot do any business inside China. he can only sell the diamonds to Chinese buyers outside China. If the diamond dealer has a diamond retail company in China, he can still import diamonds through Shanghai Diamond Exchange(SDE) via a member. If a diamond dealer has a manufacturing company in China, he can be consigned by the SDE members for rough polishing.
